ClubLogic ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ClubLogic golf analytics platform, including web and mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo through our identity providers (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email link). We store a unique identifier from your authentication provider to link your sign-in to your ClubLogic account.

Golf Performance Data

We collect golf scores, round history, handicap information, partner pairings, tournament results, and related statistics. If you provide a GHIN number, we retrieve your official handicap index from the GHIN system. If you choose to post scores to GHIN from within the app, we store your GHIN credentials in encrypted form on our servers solely for that purpose.

User-Generated Content

We collect content you create within the Service, including posts, comments, reactions, votes, and poll responses in the club feed, as well as messages, media attachments (photos and videos), and reactions in chat rooms.

Location Data

If you opt in to the Find My Foursome feature, we collect your precise location to show your position on the club course map to other members. Location may be collected in the foreground and, if you grant background location permission, while the app is in the background during a round. We also use geofencing to detect when you arrive at or leave the club property. Location data is ephemeral — it expires from our servers within 10 minutes and is never stored permanently. Location collection is entirely opt-in and can be disabled at any time in your app settings.

Bluetooth Data

If you grant Bluetooth permission as part of the Find My Foursome feature, your device broadcasts an anonymous ClubLogic beacon identifier over Bluetooth Low Energy and scans for other members' beacon identifiers that are physically near you. The beacon identifier is a fixed service UUID shared by the ClubLogic app — it does not contain your name, email address, phone number, precise coordinates, or any data that personally identifies you. When your phone observes another member's beacon nearby, the app reports the encounter to our server so both of you can appear on the club's live map, including in areas where GPS is weak or unavailable indoors. Bluetooth sightings are kept only in short-lived, in-memory storage and are never written to a long-term database. Bluetooth collection is entirely opt-in, is not required to use the Service, and can be disabled at any time in your app settings or in your device's Bluetooth / app permissions settings.

Device and Usage Information

We automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, browser type, platform (iOS, Android, or web), unique device identifiers, push notification tokens, and timestamps of activity. We use this information to deliver push notifications, diagnose issues, and improve the Service.

Media

When you share photos or videos in chat or the club feed, we upload and store those files on our servers. We may generate thumbnails or compressed versions for display purposes.

3. AI-Generated Content

ClubLogic uses artificial intelligence to generate weekly round recaps, competition previews, win-probability projections, and player commentary. These features process your golf performance data (scores, rankings, partner history) through AI models to produce narrative summaries and statistical forecasts. AI-generated content is clearly labeled within the app. Projections are based on historical performance simulation and are provided for analytical and entertainment purposes only — they do not constitute gambling, wagering, or financial advice.

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through Profile → Delete Account in the app, or by visiting www.clublogic.net/account-deletion.

What is deleted: Your profile, authentication credentials, posts, comments, reactions, chat messages, media uploads, push tokens, location settings, passkeys, and session data.

What is retained: Imported golf scores and tournament results are club competition records and are retained as part of the club's historical archive. Your name may appear on historical scorecards. Anonymized or aggregated statistics may be retained. Transactional logs required for legal compliance may be retained for the minimum period required by law.

Self-service deletion is immediate. Email-requested deletions are completed within 30 days. Backup copies are overwritten within 30 days of deletion.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
