These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ClubLogic golf analytics platform, including our web and mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Service"), operated by ClubLogic ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Access to the Service is limited to members and invitees of participating golf clubs. Each club controls its own membership; we do not independently verify your age or club affiliation beyond what the club provides.
To use the Service, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication methods (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, email link, or passkey). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may belong to multiple clubs simultaneously, each with its own separate account profile.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of golf analytics, club communication, and community engagement. You agree not to:
The Service provides golf performance analytics, including handicap calculations, the Compound Elite Index (CEI), scoring trends, and statistical analysis. While we strive for accuracy, these calculations are provided for informational and entertainment purposes within your club's league. They do not replace official USGA/GHIN handicap indexes for use in sanctioned competitions.
If you provide your GHIN credentials to post scores from within the app, you authorize us to submit scores to the GHIN system on your behalf. You remain responsible for the accuracy of posted scores.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate weekly round recaps, competition previews, win-probability projections, player commentary, and other narrative content. AI-generated content is based on historical performance data and Monte Carlo simulation. It is provided for analytical and entertainment purposes only.
Projections are not gambling. Win-probability projections displayed in the Service are statistical forecasts derived from historical data. They do not constitute odds, wagering, betting advice, or an invitation to gamble. No real money, virtual currency, or prizes are distributed through the projections feature. Side game tracking within the app is an informal record-keeping tool and does not facilitate or process any financial transactions.
You may post content through the Service, including text posts, comments, reactions, votes, poll responses, photos, videos, and other media in the club feed and chat rooms. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain ownership of your content.
You may delete your own posts and comments at any time. Chat messages are subject to retention policies set by your club administrator and may be automatically deleted after a configured period.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or that we deem harmful to the club community.
The Service provides direct and group messaging between verified club members. Messages are private to the participants of each conversation. Club administrators can set data retention policies that automatically delete messages after a specified period but cannot read the content of private direct messages.
You agree not to use the messaging features to send spam, unsolicited promotions, or content that violates Section 3 (Acceptable Use).
The Service offers an opt-in Find My Foursome feature that shares your on-course location with other club members. By enabling this feature, you consent to the collection and sharing of your location with other members who have also opted in. Location data is ephemeral and is not stored permanently. You can disable location sharing at any time in your app settings.
As part of the Find My Foursome feature, the Service also uses Bluetooth Low Energy to detect when other ClubLogic members are physically nearby at the club. When you grant Bluetooth permission, your device broadcasts an anonymous ClubLogic beacon identifier — it does not transmit your name, email, or coordinates — and scans for other members' beacon identifiers. By enabling Bluetooth you consent to this anonymous proximity detection so you and nearby members can appear on the live club map even when GPS signal is weak indoors. Bluetooth is optional, is not required to use the Service, and can be disabled at any time in your app settings or your device's Bluetooth settings.
You agree not to use location information or Bluetooth proximity information obtained through the Service to track, follow, harass, or surveil any other member.
To maintain a safe and respectful community, the Service includes content moderation tools. Users can flag posts, comments, or messages for review. Club administrators can block users, restrict access, or remove content.
In certain cases, we may apply a shadow block, which limits the visibility of a user's content to other members without notifying the affected user. We reserve the right to take any moderation action we deem necessary to protect the community, including permanent account suspension.
The Service may send push notifications for club activity, chat messages, round results, competition updates, and other relevant events. You can manage your notification preferences within the app settings or through your device's system settings. Notification delivery requires a device token which is stored on our servers and removed when you sign out or delete your account.
The Service offers different access tiers (Basic, Premium, Beta) with varying features. Your access tier is determined by your club membership and licensing allocation, and may be modified by club administrators. We reserve the right to change the features available at each tier. The Service is currently provided free of charge; if we introduce paid features in the future, we will provide advance notice.
The Service, including its design, features, analytics algorithms (including the Compound Elite Index), AI models, branding, and source code, is owned by ClubLogic and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our written permission.
You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Delete Account in the app, or by visiting www.clublogic.net/account-deletion, or by emailing [email protected]. Upon deletion, your personal data, posts, comments, messages, and media are permanently removed. Imported golf scores and tournament results are club records and are retained as part of the club's historical archive. We strive to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post material changes on this page with a revised effective date.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that analytics calculations, AI-generated content, or win-probability projections are accurate, complete, or reliable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClubLogic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, inaccuracies in analytics, decisions made based on AI-generated content or projections, or unauthorized access to your account.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClubLogic from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, at the request of your club administrator, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
