Golf Data: We collect golf performance data including scores, handicap information, round history, and related statistics. If you provide a GHIN number, we may retrieve your official handicap index from the GHIN system.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our services, including pages viewed, features used, and timestamps of activity.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers to provide and improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our golf analytics services
• Calculate handicap indexes, performance metrics, and competitive rankings
• Generate round reports, competition previews, and player analytics
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Send transactional communications such as sign-in links
• Ensure the security and integrity of our platform

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

• Google Firebase: Authentication services (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, email link authentication)
• GHIN / USGA: Official handicap index retrieval for players who provide their GHIN number
• Cloudflare: Content delivery, DNS, and security services

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Within your club: Golf performance data and rankings are visible to other members of your club as part of the platform's core functionality
• Service providers: With third-party vendors who help us operate our services, under contractual obligations to protect your data
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and golf data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, though anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
