Account & Data Deletion
Effective Date: April 10, 2026
You can delete your ClubLogic account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account, what data is removed, what is retained, and the two ways you can initiate deletion.
1. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile (name, email, photo, bio, push notification tokens)
- Your authentication credentials and sign-in history
- All posts, comments, and reactions you created in the feed
- All private messages you sent and direct chat rooms you participated in
- Your votes, polls, and survey responses
- Chat attachments and media you uploaded
- Your location-sharing settings and any cached presence data
- Any linked passkeys, device identifiers, and session tokens
2. What is retained (and why)
The following information is not deleted, because it belongs to the club as competition data or is legally required:
- Imported golf scores and round results. These are official competition records owned by your golf club and are retained for historical standings, handicap calculation, and audit purposes. Your name appears on the scorecard as part of the club's tournament history, the same way it would in a printed scorebook.
- Aggregated statistics. De-identified metrics (club-wide averages, leaderboard totals, historical trends) may be retained in a form that cannot be linked back to you.
- Legal and compliance records. Transactional logs required to meet legal, regulatory, or security-incident obligations may be retained for the minimum period required by law.
If you want your name removed from historical scorecards as well, contact your golf club directly — they own that data and can anonymize it in their Golf Genius or tournament management system, which then propagates to ClubLogic.
3. How to delete your account
There are two options. We recommend Option A if you can still sign in.
Option A — Self-service (recommended)
If you can still sign in to the ClubLogic app (web or mobile), the fastest path is to delete your account directly from the app:
- Open the ClubLogic app or visit your club's ClubLogic website (e.g.
yourclub.clublogic.net).
- Sign in with the same provider you used to register (Google, Apple, or email link).
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the action in the dialog. Your account and all data listed in Section 1 will be removed immediately.
If you are a member of more than one ClubLogic club, each club is a separate instance and you will need to repeat the steps above once per club — or use Option B below and we will handle the cross-club deletion for you.
Option B — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in, do not remember which clubs you were a member of, or would prefer that we handle deletion on your behalf (including across multiple clubs), email us:
Email [email protected]
Please include the following in your email so we can verify your identity:
- The full name on your account
- The email address you used to sign in
- The name(s) of the club(s) you belong to, if you remember them
We will respond to confirm the request, verify your identity, and then process the deletion across every ClubLogic instance where we find an account tied to your email.
4. How long it takes
- Option A (self-service): Your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation. Backups containing your data are overwritten within 30 days.
- Option B (email request): We acknowledge the request within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of verification.
5. After deletion
Once your account is deleted, you will be signed out of all devices and will no longer be able to sign in with the same credentials. If you want to use ClubLogic again in the future, you will need to create a new account and your previous posts, comments, and messages will not be restored.
6. Questions
If you have any questions about this deletion process or your data, contact us at [email protected]. For general questions about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
